They are an easy read and that is why I am reading them.  I started the The Hunger Games while I was in Colorado.  I had to put the book on hold so I could read these, so I am once again in the middle of it!

Whatever.

June seemed to drag on forever, for me at least.  And as July 2012 comes into the world in about 45 minutes, I can't help but wonder what the rest of the summer will bring for me.  I really hope that I win that Kindle Fire that my local library is giving away.  I have been reading non-stop which is good because it will help me get through those dry textbooks next year because I am beginning to read faster.  But sometimes it ins't enough.  I need to find something else to do this summer! And yes, I have a job.  I sell Lia Sophia jewelry.  I want to get more people to host parties, but most of them just ignore it or make up some lame excuse.  I guess I will have to try harder.  But the thing is, I want summer to end.  I want it to be September, because frankly is so freaking hot out that I don't even want to go outside half of the time.  I just want to be back in Platteville, doing my thing, being on my own with the exception of my kick-ass roommate next year, (and yes I am really excited about it).  I will be a senior.....a senior in college! Where the fuck did the time go! That is my biggest question.  I am starting to freak out a bit because of it.  To be honest, I don't want it to end. I love college so much more then high school....high school was a pain in the ass.  In college, I guess I found myself...I know it sounds supper corny, but its true.  I have made some of my best friends in college so far and I fear the day that I leave everything, the residence halls, the classrooms, and being able to to just walk down the hall or up the stairs in order to see my friends.  I will not graduate in May, so it will be easier, I guess.  I am just worried about going into the workforce and not being able to find a job.  Plus I haven't met the "one" yet...or maybe I have and I just haven't realized it yet...but it always seems to come down to that. As June 2012 comes to a close, I can't help but wonder what July and August will bring...hopefully rain because we need it desperately

Spring!!!!

I am really happy that spring is almost here! Bring it on! I am so excited to be wearing capris, flip-flops and nto having to wear a bulky jacket to class. : )  It is gonna be great! Spring break is next week and I have so much planned! I am getting my hair cut on Monday! So excited...I need a change.  AND I am now selling Lia Sophia jewelry!!! I am supper excited about that because it will help during school and stuff.  Now I just need to a have a party....anyone want to host one? Please say yes! I am also having lunch with my wonderful cousin Jodi, and going shopping with my mom on Friday the 23rd.  And sometime in there I have to do homework.....hopefully.  I love Platteville, believe me, I do, but it will be nice to get away for a week and relax with no classes.  Oh and I have even better news! I am now the Communications Coordinator Elect of RHA!!!!!!!!! Basically for the rest of the semester, I am job shadowing the current CC and then I will have to position next year!!!! I am really excited to get involved and go to all of the conference I am supposed to.  This will be a great networking opportunity and a great thing to use on a resume that will help me get a job in the future.  The position is paid, but that doesn't really matter to me because this way I will be more involved on campus! I love being involved.  With school full time, selling Lia Sophia and being the CC, I will have a busy schedule, but that's okay, I love being busy.  Its what keeps me going.  And I won't have time to worry about boys either, and that's okay too because I probably won't have time for them anyway.  So that's it folks because I have a meeting I need to go to! ttfn

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

So I have been Pandoaing it up lately.  So many good songs! I should not be singing right now since I am getting sick.  UGH. Anyway.  While listening to all these songs it makes me think of my past mainly.  Like all the almost relationships I had and everything else.  Its interesting.  Each one of them had nicknames.  The current one at the moment is He Who Must Not Be Named and no its not Lord Voldy that would be gross and like kissing a snake.  (Insert puking face here).  So anyways, I have hit a blogging stump.  I am not sure what to blog about anymore.  Some how its either guys, homework, what I am going to wear the next day and many other things are on my brain, its a bit annoying actually. I do have a wish though and I am going to share it with you all.  I wish that I would see He Who Must Not Be Named more often and hopefully something will happen.  Oh dear Lord, now I sound like one of the those desperate wannabes! I don't want to be a desperate wannabe! haha.  I feel like I have been waiting long enough and it feels different this time like I actually have a chance and he has no idea where I am from or about 85% of my past.  Its great.  That is why I love being away at college. What I hate is that I am afraid to talk to him.  I really want to talk to him on Facebook but I am all like what if he doesn't respond back and the whole thing about what do I even say! I wish things were easier like they seem to be for everyone else.  I had heard negative things about him, but I want to find out for myself.  Like Kelly Clarkson says in one of her new songs......What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

The Thoughts Going Through My Head.

I haven't blogged in a while.  I have just have been so busy with school, meetings, etc.  Things are good I guess.  I figured I would just share some of the thoughts that are going through my head right now or lately:

1.  I love Pandora.  I can listen to so much music.....its awesome.
2. Valentine's Day was yesterday.  I have 2 word for that.  Ba Humbug.
3.  I look really pretty today!
4.  There are some really cute guys in my classes.
5.  I have skipped my Econ class 3 times already....not a good thing!
6. I really need to get my resume done!
7. I'm looking for an internship so I hope to get one near home.
8.  I got my ears pierced again, and they hurt a bit, but that's okay, it was totally worth it!
9.  I need to get over a certain boy. So if you have any suggestions let me know!
10.  Because he won't grow up and be a man and settle down...so I have heard.
11. So I guess I will find someone else who wants to.
12.  I have a Business Law test tomorrow that I am worried about.
13.  It was really warm today...for February.
14. I am supper excited that I am going for the CC elect position on RHA! I really hope I get it!
15.  I am sure I will think of more later!

So there you have it.  Have a great rest of the day everyone!! :)

Facebook Official....Does it Even Exist Anymore?

I have been wanting to type this post all week, but had like no ambition to.  So okay the point of this post is to inform you that you should not believe everything on Facebook.  You are probably thinking well duh that is pretty obvious and if you do your dumb.  Well for starters I am going to start with the whole "Facebook official" crap.  Back in the day (yes I just said that) well when I was in high school which was like 2-3 years ago, you were not dating the person unless you were Facebook official.  Your relationship status HAD to say "In a relationship with....." You get the point.  But everyone used to talk about that and be like oh well are you guys Facebook official? And if you weren't you were not an actual couple.  Well that whole Facebook official crap is basically gone....which partly is a good thing.  BUT since its not a big deal anymore people do not change their relationship status as often.  So if you are in a relationship just make that your relationship status, no one really gives a fuck who you are dating it is just to know if you are taken and okay I won't go for you.  But most people do not do that....so I will give you a scenario.....Okay girl meets hot guy and then adds him on Facebook.  Girl goes to his Facebook page and sees that he is single.  Girl gets really happy because she can go after him.  Girl tries going after guy and it fails.  Then girl finds out he is taken, but doesn't want people to know about it.  Girl is disappointed.  See? This would all be easier if you change your relationship status.  And there is something else! If you don't want anyone to know just take it off Facebook there is an option for that! And I am not kidding. Because in my opinion, people do not need to know my relationship status.  If you want to know then just ask me.  That is why mine is not listed, it forces you to ask me.  Which is a good thing.  So for those of you that are taken and your relationship still says single, change it or take it off before that person that is interested in you finds out that you are in fact off the market.

The First Day of Classes!?

So today was my first day of 2nd semester classes! YAY!!! (not). Okay they were not all that bad, I made a friend AND sat next to this really cute guy named Jeremy in my Intro to Marketing class.  So that was a plus and the class sounds really interesting and I like marketing.  If I were not majoring in Human Resources, I would major in Marketing, but there are no jobs in the field of study.  Anyway away from that subject.  My Econ class was full of guys, and a few girls, so that will be interesting.  Oh well I need it for my major.  My professors for today were pretty good though, I think it will be a good semester in those classes.  Tomorrow I have the majority of my classes, so that should be interesting.  I have Human Resource Management, Management Gender and Race and finally Legal Environment of Business. Not in that order.  I will have straight classes tomorrow from 11-3:30, which is a good thing, I am in the same building and I have 12 minutes between each class, so that is not too bad.  I am looking forward to these classes more because there will be more upper-classmen in those classes! I hate having classes with freshman.  I also had this fear that I was going to run into a certain someone I used to be interested in last semester.  I think I am still interested in him....I am not quite sure at the moment. But anyway, I knew I wouldn't because he has a totally different major than I do and our paths are not supposed to cross right? I ended up asking him to have lunch with me last semester and it amounted to nothing........I figured okay no biggie time to move on and I was right because I am not sure why I just am.  I am writing this because (hopefully) he will never read this and if he does, then he should reconsider, right?   Anyway I am being way too hard on myself and kinda hard on him right now.  And this is supposed to be about my first day of classes!  Well I best go read my Economics book or something cool like that and if you end up reading this, then you should talk to me and get to know me better or just be my friend.

The End.

Life in One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill is one of my favorite TV shows, I watch it all the time.  I find it an interesting show about love, basketball, friends, and the challenges of life.  I also find the show very relatable, because most of the stuff that the show is about, is affecting people in the real world.  The actors are great, each one plays their part very well.  Of course there are a few that could be kicked off the show, but I won't mention that.  My favorite story line is Nathan and Hailey, otherwise known as "Naliey" by fans.  I have always loved their story.  James Lafferty and Bethany Joy Galeotti have such great chemistry on air.  Sometimes I wish that was me on the TV with Lafferty, because is just so gosh darn hot! Every fan wants that Nathan or Hailey in their life.  Or that Lucas or Peyton or Brooke or Julian.  I would personally want a Nathan, he has to be my favorite character in the show.  Every time I watch I think that my Nathan will come into my life some day soon.  Whenever I watch OTH, its not just 1 episode, its usually 4 or more.  I love owning the series as well because then I can watch it whenever I want.  But every day I think to myself.....My Nathan will come into my life because I am just a Hailey waiting for her Nathan! :)

The Holiday know as Valentines Day.......

I know its not February yet, but its still getting to that time of year.  I mean the retail stores already have Valentines decorations out and everything.  I went to a JoAnn's fabric and craft store twice over break and they had a lots of Valentines day stuff and there was even a sale on them.....and it was the beginning of January.  Walmart even has the candy isle where they have all of those huge heart boxes of candy that every women needs....not.  Then there are the flowers, yes flowers are pretty, I get them every year for a birthday, which is very nice.  But flowers on Valentines day is the biggest thing there is and I see no point to it.  Valentines Day is a holiday for those people that are in relationships, in love, etc. etc. blah. blah.  Valentines Day is a holiday worth skipping in my opinion.  You want to know why? Because I believe that this holiday only benefits those people that are in relationships, and those that are not are reminded about being single and how the greeting card companies think that oh poor you, you are not dating anyone....sorry but I guess that makes you a loser.  When I was in high school every year there would be this large table set up in the commons area.  On that table would be Valentines Day presents that parents got their child or boyfriends that got their girlfriends something.  I never got anything and I knew I wouldn't because I didn't have a boyfriend in high school and to be honest, I am still looking for the right guy.  But that is not the point of this blog post.  Valentines Day just remind us single people in the world that there is no guy or girl in our lives and to be frank, it sucks.  Even though some of us are reminded every day, but Valentines Day is the worst because there is so much pink and white and red that I just might puke.  You might say that I am being bitchy about the subject, but it sucks not having that certain someone to spend this day with.  Valentines Day has always been a holiday that I have hated....maybe sometime in the future that may change.

My Obsession with Eric Northman

Eric Northman is a fictional character.  He is a vampire on HBO's True Blood and he is also in the book series that the TV show is based off of by Charlaine Harris.  I really want to read the books and will hopefully soon! But Eric Northman is no Edward Cullen.  I have formed this opinion of Edward Cullen, he is a creepy stalker and a whip, and way to over protective.  It's creepy and this is supposed to be attractive to younger girls? I don't think so! Eric Northman from the TV series is not only hot, but the actor is a towering 6'4! That is insanely tall, haha.  He is also does what he wants, something that is a good quality in him.  He isn't over protective and mostly only cares about himself, but I can't stop watching the show, because he is just so damn sexy! The character is played by Alexander SkarsgĂ„rd, who was born in Stockholm, Sweden.  Yes he is like 36, but who cares.  If you don't believe me, then see the picture of him....

This is a normal picture of Alexander

And this is him as Eric Northman

Need to know more? Look him up on IMDB
There they state his  Trade Marks

Cleft chin
"Skarsbrow", ie he habitually lifts his left eyebrow quizzically
Magnetic blue green eyes
Frequently plays very calm restrained individuals, often with positions of authority(Ex. Meekus from Zoolander)
Distinctive mellow voice
Towering height
Lean yet impressively athletic physique
Blonde hair

But these are the reasons I fine him irresistible!

The Joys of Woking in Retail

I work at a retail store and my position is Sales Associate, but some days that is not really my job title.  On a good day it is.  I deal with snobby customers who are too lazy to pick up after themselves and demand to be waited on hand and foot.  They also expect everything to be free....when in reality nothing is.  I hear it everyday from people of that is not right its supposed to be this price.  But you know the saying that the customer is always right? Well that is bullshit, because the customer is not right.  I have had people fight with my over the price of things just because it is not what they want it to be.  Some people will complain that it is too much even with all the coupons that they.  Its ridiculous! I don't want to sound like one of those peoples that bitch about their job, but people need to wise up and realize that I am a person that does not deserve to be treated like shit.  I am just here to help you find what you need and to have you leave in a happy mood.  It is not my fault that your coupon does not work or that you were expecting a lower price or that your credit card was declined.  The other day while I was working this happened.  There were two ladies looking at our $1.99 sock bin.  It was a mother and daughter to be exact.  The mother held up a pair of socks that were navy blue and had three snowmen embroidered on the top of the sock.  The mother turns to the daughter and asks her, what do you think of these?  The daughter replies with those are gay.  Mother turns to me and says, yeah why are you trying to sell me gay socks.  I was speechless.  I also thought really? You are offending me and I am straight! It was horrible, you do not use that word anymore!  And I can't say anything back to them because I could get in trouble.  I also had a women snap at me because I was watching her try on boots and couldn't get it up her leg, so her husband had to help.  She was a bitch, and I never even said anything offending to her.  She thought I was about to attack her...and that is true because of the way I approached her.  I was like WTF?!?!?! It made me so mad.  She was heavily medicated anyway because she just had back surgery and had to talk to one of my managers about it.  It was annoying.  But oh well I put it past me.  She should have just stayed home of she wasn't feeling well.  But people in this world are dumb and don't know any better.

My Frustration with Itunes

Okay, so itunes is pretty cool right, you can have like over 1,000 or more songs on there and you can listen to it whenever you want.  I am not sure if it is my computer or itunes doing this, but whenever I open it, it takes forever to load! I end up restarting my computer like a least 3 times in order for it to work properly.  I have an ipod, one of the ipod nanos that has the video in it.  I think I own the 8GB.  I have roughly 1300 songs on my itunes and it keeps growing like everyday.  My itunes does not up date my ipod anymore due to the number of songs being too many.  It is a bit annoying because I would like to listen to more than just the songs that are on there.  If I get any new music, I can't listen to it due to the fact that I can't add anymore songs.  I love my ipod, but I just wish that my itunes would be a little more cooperative with my ipod.  Hopefully it will get better, but for now I am just living with it.

Why the Queen Bee?

Okay so why I am calling my blog The Queen Bee? Its not because I am some stuck up bitch who thinks that she is the queen of her clique or anything and I am certainly not Regina George from Mean Girls.  The reason is because my name is Greek for a honey bee, which is really cool if you ask me.  Another thing that makes it really cool is that one of my dad's hobbies is beekeeping and that is where I got my name.  So there you have it! :)
